About the Show:

Long after returning from Neverland, Wendy decides that she must find Peter in order to reclaim her kiss and move on with her life. Along the way, she meets other girls who went to Neverland and learns she is not alone. A coming-of-age exploration of first love and lasting loss, Lost Girl continues the story of J.M. Barrie’s beloved character – the girl who had to grow up.

About the Author:

Kimberly Belflower is a playwright and educator originally from a small town in Appalachian Georgia. Her play, Lost Girl, is published by Samuel French and won the 2018 Kennedy Center Darrell Ayers National Playwriting Award. Her other plays include John Proctor is the VillainGondalTeen Girl FANtasies, and The Sky Game, which have been commissioned, produced, and developed by Milwaukee Repertory Theatre, The Farm Theatre, We the Women Collective, Peppercorn Theatre, Less Than Rent Theatre, Front Porch Arts Collective, Cohen New Works Festival, as well as many colleges and universities across the country. Kimberly has also worked as a writer and narrative lead for Meow Wolf, Santa Fe's celebrated immersive arts company. Kimberly was a founding member of the New York women’s writing group, The Beehive Collective, and the founder of a creative arts program for preteen girls in Austin. She proudly holds an MFA from the University of Texas at Austin.

Nat Coe (they/them) is thrilled to be directing Rebel Phoenix Theatre Collective’s first official production. A Phoenix-based director, writer, and the Founding Artistic Director of Rebel Phoenix Theatre Collective, Nat has spent the last several years shaping a distinct artistic voice rooted in bold storytelling, fast-paced collaboration, and championing underrepresented voices onstage. They have worked throughout the valley as both a director and educator, continually striving to create rehearsal rooms where artists feel safe, challenged, and inspired. Their recent directing credits include Lost Girl (Chandler High School), 13: The Musical (Greasepaint Youth Theatre), and An Inspector Calls (Main Street Creative Arts Center).
